			<description><![CDATA[<p>At long last the New South Wales Government has recognised that many of its Departments have been purchasing supplies from foreign companies to the exclusion of local suppliers. The contract&nbsp;awarded to Office Max and Corporate Express for the supply of stationery products was ridiculous in the first place. Two American corporations&nbsp;being given exclusive rights to all of NSW Health and Education&nbsp;in exchange for a small rebate&nbsp;borders on&nbsp;the obscene.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Let us hope that sanity has prevailed and purchases can be made by Government Departments based on quality and service as well as price.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>
